Easter this year was fun. And I guess really exhausting for Mommy. It is hard to do so many activities with a new baby around the house. We made it to an easter egg hunt which was the craziest one we have ever been to and we dyed eggs which is always our favorite to do.

The Easter Bunny brought us baskets full of cool stuff and even Bond had a full basket too. Full of bibs and pacifiers. Pictures of us in our Easter clothes are still to come. It just hasn't been dry or warm enough to do pictures outside yet. We're crossing our fingers for soon though!

Growing up

I am really growing up. One of the biggest moments of my life happened to me last month. I have been waiting years for this. Yes, you guessed it. I lost a tooth! Finally! I had been wiggling it and wiggling it until it was loose and then a couple of weeks later, it came out. Mommy was so glad it waited to come out until after she was out of the hospital from having Bond. She didn't want to miss it.

It happened on a Sunday. I was sitting next to Mom while she was feeding the baby and my tooth just fell out. I was totally shocked. I can't wait until another one comes out!

I even made up a tooth song and a tooth dance just to celebrate the occasion.

It was a very special day. A new little man joined our family. His name is Bond McAllister Milne and we are all in love with him.

Last friday was Cowboy Day at Grayson's school. He was so excited for it because we missed this day last year when we went to California. Mom took him to the western store to find real cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. The lady at the store taught him how to actually "kick off his boots". Well, that was a big mistake. Now all he wants to do is wear his boots and kick them off.

He was dressed and ready hours before school and he was such a cute little cowboy just strutting around the house.

Karate!

While Mom was on bed rest, she decided that Gray needed to have more activities to do. Daddy said Karate would be perfect for him.

Daddy was right. He loved it! He loves to do all the moves and yell "YES SIR" at any command, even at home when Mommy asks him to do something. He earned his first tip for his belt within the first month and is still doing great.

After Mommy got off bed rest and started taking Grayson to Karate herself, I went with her. I loved watching it and I really wanted to do it too. So, Mommy let me try it out and it turns out that I am a natural. Our teacher said he was surprised how high I can kick. So now, I am a dancer-karate-soccer girl! Watch Out!

Last week, Gray earned his second tip and I earned my first one. And we both earned gold stars to go on our pants for having good report cards from school.

the leprechaun

From the beginning of March until St. Patrick's day, all Gray and I would talk about is the leprechaun that we were going to catch. Gray is obsessed with money and he just really wanted to catch that sneaky leprechaun to have all the gold and chocolate coins for himself.

So based on some tips from school, we made our own leprechaun trap and we just knew it would work. We made a plan and put it into place just before bedtime on the 16th. We set it in the family room and Grayson told everyone not to go in that room the rest of the night. I could hear him yelling from his bed to Mom and Dad every so often, "you guys aren't in the family room, right??"

Well, we woke up the next morning to find quite a surprise. The leprechaun had escaped from our trap and in the process, he made a huge mess everywhere. The chocolate coins and jewels we had left to entice him were scattered all over the house. Every cupboard and drawer in the house was wide open. And to top it all off, the water in all the toilets had turned green.

We'll get you next year, silly leprechaun.

Christmas 2010

It was our favorite day of the year... Christmas Eve! We love this day/night because we love to do all our traditions and just hang out as a family. First we frosted cookies for Santa's plate. We got really creative this year.

And this was our final product. I think Santa really loved our creations.

Then just as we were cleaning up, the door bell rang. It was the pajama elf! He left two packages at our door. Pajamas and robes for me and Gray.

He picked out just the right ones for us. We loved them!

We sat by the Christmas tree all lit up and talked about what might be in all those presents and what might Santa leave for us by our stockings.

We took a bath and hopped in Mommy and Daddy's bed to cuddle and read "The Night before Christmas".

We set our cookies out for Santa and headed off to bed.

The next morning brought so many great surprises and kept us occupied all day long! As usual, it was a great Christmas!

December 2010

December was a ridiculously busy month just like it is every year. In fact, we are just about certain that that is exactly what put Mommy on strict bed rest.

We started out the month with Grayson's pre-school Christmas performance.

Grayson did great at his performance and kept us laughing the whole time.

Next, we had my dance recital. My dance company did "The Wizard of Oz".

My class did the dance of the black crows. In case you are not aware, that is when the black crows come dance around the famed Scarecrow.

Next was Grayson's Birthday party. His theme was wheels.

Every one made their own cake that was shaped like a car.

Next was Grayson's actual birthday. He went on a date all day with Mommy. One of his favorite gifts was Wall-E the robot.

They went to Chick-fil-a and had lunch and ice cream.

And of course he had breakfast in bed.

Later that week, Grayson got his check-up at the doctor and he got his shots. He was so so brave. He didn't even cry and those ones hurt! Trust me!

Right before Christmas, we got to meet up with Uncle Nash, aka Elder Thomas, for lunch. He got special permission to have lunch with us before he got transferred to Mexico. We really miss him but we are so glad he finally got to go to his assigned area.

November 2010

We some nice and some horrible weather in November. The nice weather was first. We got to spend some nice days outside. We discovered that Grayson could draw people. He drew the whole family on the driveway. Notice all our belly buttons? Those are a very important detail to Grayson.

Mommy got upgraded to "limited activity" for a while and got to go out. "Taste of Salt Lake" is one of their favorite events to go to every year. We like to see them all dressed up to go out.

Mama got to help at school for our Thanksgiving Feast. I love having her at my school. And having a feast was really fun.

Then came real Thanksgiving. We had a big Thanksgiving dinner up in Logan at Grandpa Thomas and Grandma Arlene's house. We got to stay in hotel and that was our favorite part of the trip. Our least favorite part was the horrible weather. One day the high temperature was below 0!

Fun in the Fall! Even though Mama was stuck on a couch most of the time in October, we managed to have a little fun in the fall and have her take our pictures.

Of course, the best part of October are all the parties for Halloween. I decided to be Hannah Montana this year and Grayson decided to be a Ninja with flames.

We had a trunk or treat party right in our neighborhood on our street. We look forward to this party every year.

By the time Halloween came, I didn't want to be Hannah Montana anymore. That wig was driving me crazy. So I decided to pull my new cheerleading outfit out of my dress-up box and be a cheer leader for trick or treating. Grayson still loved being a ninja though.

This is us before trick or treating. Believe me, we weren't this cheery afterwards. It was so cold and windy and rainy that we gave up after 10 houses. Note to us: always pick a really warm costume to wear for Halloween.

This is a typical scene at our house no matter what time of year it is. The three of us sitting on a couch together with the TV on, a computer on one person's lap and at least one Ipad on someone else's. Can you say entertainment overload??

We tried to pack in a lot of family activities in together before the nice weather was totally over. We discovered the The Children's Discovery Museum finally. We had such a great time exploring there and Mommy had fun trying out her new camera.

We also hit the zoo again because we wanted to get as much use out of our annual pass as we could.

At my school, they have a fund raiser that I was so excited to do. It was a fun run. Grayson and Mama did it with me too. We ran 1 mile!! I can't wait to do it again.

September is so great because that is when my birthday is. I had a pajama party this year to celebrate. My cake was specially ordered to look like fuzzy bunny slippers. It was so cool.

I turned 6! All my friends came dressed in their pajamas and brought their favorite dolls. We made matching necklaces for us and our dolls.

I finally got to have a pinata.

We all snuggled in the basement and watched a movie until the party was over and every one had to leave. I told Mama it was my most favorite party ever.

Then came my actual birthday and I got soooo spoiled. I got barbie things and American girl things and oh so many things.

This also was the day that Mama had to go to the hospital so we didn't get to do everything that we planned but that is alright. Mommy and the baby ended up being OK but there were a lot of things Mommy couldn't do after that. Hopefully my next birthday will filled with even more fun and everyone will be healthy.

August 2010

August was a time of change for us. First of all, I decided to change my hair. I had about 6 inches cut off. I had been begging my mom to let me cut it for months. I really liked it the first couple of days but then I realized that short hair is a lot more hard work than long hair. That is why I have been growing it out ever since.

Grayson discovered his new favorite sport. Miniature Golf. He still begs us to go to Boondocks and play every day.

Then the big changes started. We started a new year of school. Grayson went back to Newcastle Preschool but he was one of the big kids now.

He got to meet his class and his new teacher, Miss Samantha.

He was so excited for his first day.

I had my very first day at the big school. I started Kindergarten!! I was so excited, I couldn't contain myself. My teacher's name is Mrs. Saltmarsh. She is pretty great. Everyone thinks so.

We even have our own little playground at the big school.

When we lined up, Mommy realized I was a lot bigger than the other kids.

When I said goodbye to Mom, she couldn't take off her sunglasses. It was because she couldn't help but cry. Her big baby was leaving her and she knew it would never be the same.

I am just so excited to be a big kid though. Believe me, it was about time.

If you thought we were busy in May and June, you won't believe how much we did in July. We had so many great pictures that I had to share.

We spent the very beginning of the month in California at Grandma Hollie and Grandpa Gordon's house. We did a lot and had so much fun celebrating the 4th of July with them.

We made masks with Grandma.

No trip there would be complete without some fun at the beach. We tried our best to build a castle but were not very successful... this time anyway.

We made some really cool t-shirts with our cousins and spent a whole day just playing with them. We could spend days in Grandma's backyard just playing hide and seek and running around.

Grayson and cousin Luke are just 7 months apart and are best buds every time we visit.

It was so nice to wake up to the sun every morning at Grandma's house.

We swam and swam and swam. Grandma's pool is the best and she even took us to another pool to have lessons with Marsha.

Marsha taught Gray to swim and not be afraid of the water.

And she taught me to be even more fearless than I usually am. I could not stop jumping off the diving board into the deep water. I love it!

We were home for a little bit and got invited to a doggie wedding. It did seem a little a strange but we sure had fun there. We brought our own little puppies too.

We then were off to Colorado to have a party for Uncle Nash. He was getting ready to leave on his mission. We had fun hanging out with him before he left. Our new favorite place is Waterworld. He got to talk in Church and then pack his bags for Mexico!!! Here are some pics of us in front of Nana and Bumpa's house.

We headed back home with Nana, Bumpa and Nash following us. Nash entered the MTC (a place for him to get trained for his mission). Mommy cried a little when we said goodbye.

After all that, we had a fun parade in our neighborhood. We celebrated our country and were the slowest in the parade. Our little jeep just doesn't go as fast we thought it would.

We headed to Bear Lake for the weekend. It is kind of like a tradition for us. The best part this year was Minnetonka Cave. It was so so so awesome!!! Gray's favorite part was the bats, even though we didn't actually see any because they were hiding. My favorite part was this rock formation. It is called the 7 dwarfs.

For the end of July, we drove to Canada to see our Great-Grandparents and enjoy Waterton National Park where the family cabin is. There are so many fun hikes to take there. I really don't think you could go anywhere prettier.

We have a picture in the same place every time we go up there to visit.

The Summer months last year were so so so busy. We packed a lot into June and let me tell you even though June is supposed to be the start of Summer, in Utah it is the continuation of a very long winter. It is cold and rains (sometimes snows) through out the whole month. Despite all that, we had a lot of fun and spent as much time outside as we could.

We finished up our Spring soccer season and had such a good time. Gray and I loved playing on the same team.

Ellie Aoki played on our team too. We just love her and are so so so sad she moved to Texas. She was my best friend... :( sniff, sniff.

And yes, that IS hot chocolate that Grayson is drinking. Soccer is a very cold sport in Utah.

With all the rain we get, it makes our yard look so pretty. One of our favorite things to do is help Mommy and Daddy work in the yard.

We discovered the Hogle Zoo during the Summer. It is such a fun place. The playground there is our favorite one.

We always have to measure ourselves on this sign every time we go.

We can never get enough of the carousel.

And our most favorite part is getting to visit the baby elephant, Zuri. She is just so cute. It makes us want to have our very own baby elephant.

Gray finished his first official year of pre-school. He just loved his teacher, Miss Charlotte.

He got to sing lots of silly songs and wear silly hats.

I graduated from the New Castle pre-school. I got a wear a special graduation hat and I even got a diploma. Grayson and I are each other's biggest support at both our pre-school programs.

Me and my VERY good friend, Abbie. We spent many, many days together.

I also got to wear a silly hat and sing silly songs.

Grayson let me dress him up. He lets me do that a lot but Mommy and Daddy seem to be finding it less and less funny every time we do it.

And finally, here is us having a sleepover. Sometimes we just love each other so much we just can't bare to be apart.

In May, we took a really fun trip to Denver. We flew on the airplane which we love doing. Mommy says we are the BEST little air travelers ever. Our favorite airport to fly into is the Denver one because it has a train inside it. It is so much fun to ride on.

In Denver, we visited with our Nanna and Bumpa and Nash. He was was home working to save money for his mission. We did a lot of fun things while we were visiting. One of our favorite things was going on a hike with Bumpa. He took us to these really cool caves and red rocks that he used to take mom to when she was a little girl. It was neat and we saw a lot of pigeons.

Our other favorite thing to do was go to the Museum of Nature and Science. We went to the body worlds exhibit that was in town that week. Grayson couldn't get enough of all the bodies but I actually got a little bored. I don't love science as much Gray does. I did love the Egypt exhibit there though. Those mummies are so cool. So are all the dinosaur bones. One of the things we learned at the body worlds exhibit was how to lift things without hurting your back. The docent used a really cool demonstration to show us and we will never forget what we learned. We constantly remind everyone in our family of the correct way to lift things and bend over.

Mommy discovered Groupon.com and scored us tickets to Stars on Ice. It was a fun Mommy-Daughter date and our seats were so close to the ice. I love watching all the tricks they do!

I also got to give a talk in Primary. I actually get to do that a lot. And Grayson too. Our primary is small so everybody gets lots of turns.

And here is a video of Mommy catching me when I thought I was alone. I was practicing for my band. My band is very important to me. It just so happens that my keyboard is now broken though so it is a little hard to practice.

Easter, Easter, Easter! So many fun things to do during Easter time. Our most favorite thing to do every year is the Easter egg hunt in the park.

Mommy and Daddy went on their annual trip to Mexico. I think they can't get enough of that golden sun!

We started our Spring soccer season. Grayson and I got to play on the same team and Daddy was our coach. Actually, Daddy is always our coach and that is our favorite part of soccer.

In case you didn't know, Grayson and I are best friends. We pretty much do everything together. We used to take baths together and we always had the best time. Sometimes my mom says we have a little bit TOO much fun.

And it was St. Patrick's Day. Gray and I love this holiday. We love wearing green and we love eating chocolate gold coins. Grayson is positive that those chocolate gold coins are at the end of every rainbow. In fact, every time he sees a rainbow he insists that we go find the end of it so that we can eat all the candy.

February is a special month. Especially for Mommy and Daddy. It's their anniversary month. To celebrate, they went on a cruise to the Bahamas. They said it was so nice to see some sun and get a tan. The best part is all the stuff they brought us.

We also got to see Grandma Coralie and Grandpa Glade. We got to have lunch with them in a hotel in Salt Lake City. We love getting to see them and Grayson loves sitting Grandpa's lap.

Winter activities 2010

For the first time, we learned how great winter can be. Mommy still doesn't agree but we managed to get her to participate anyway.

We went sledding and we learned how to build a snowman.

We went ice skating for the very first time. Mommy said I did great. Grayson on the other hand, had noodle legs. Daddy couldn't get him to stand up on the ice.

January brought us a lot of time without Mommy. She was working most of the month and we even got to go up to Park City with her for a day.

Gray and I love to wrestle.

And I love to be "fashionable".

We also had a really fun outing to the Dinosaur museum will our good friends, Ellie and Jake. We love hanging out with them. We are so sad that they moved away last summer.

As you can see, I brought DUSO with me and tried really hard to get a good picture of us together. DUSO is the dolphin that is the class pet. We take turns bringing him home and writing about all the things we do together during the week.

Last year was a great year and I feel really horrible that I was so busy last year that I didn't post enough about it! Mommy is stuck in her bed waiting for the baby to be born so I thought this would be the perfect time for her to help me write about all our adventures in the past year.

We have decided to post month by month about the last year. I will tell you all about my favorite things and show you my favorite pictures starting with last Christmas 2009. Happy reading!

Christmas 2009

We made Ginger bread cookies for the very first time.

It was so fun to make different little people.

Our favorite traditions on Christmas eve always start with a visit from the "Pajama Elf" followed by hot cocoa, snuggle time by the fire and then daddy reads us our favorite Christmas books. We set out our cookies and milk for Santa and then off to bed!

We got so many great presents that year and lots and lots of snow.

I was born and I was like the cutest baby ever...

And then along came Grayson and he was also like the cutest baby ever...

We were pretty much babies together and were best friends right from the beginning. We moved to Utah and were happy to have each other as a 2 and 3 yr. old. However, when we moved here, Mommy and Daddy said there wasn't enough room for all our baby stuff and we didn't need it anymore anyway. So Mommy gave away and sold everything except for one box of our cutest baby clothes.

Well, looks like we will be getting the box off that shelf in the garage soon!

Mommy is pregnant with another baby!!!

We couldn't be more excited. Grayson and I always wanted another brother or sister. For the past month, Gray and I have been suggesting names and things we want to play with our new baby. Mommy says we will have plenty of time to pick just the right name for the baby and get everything we need for it. Our baby is due March 31st! It can't come soon enough!

Stepping it up

So last night, Mommy took me to go see Step Up 3D finally. I have been begging her to take me for months. It was soooo great. I just love all the cool dancing in it. There was some kissing though, I had to cover my mom's eyes. After we left the movie, I practiced my dance moves in the parking lot and my mom thought they were pretty cool. When we got home, my dad asked me how the movie was. I couldn't answer him with words so I just asked my mom to cue the music and this is how I answered him:

Also, here is a really cute picture of me and Grayson. We were at the Princess Ice show in November. Of course, I wanted to dress up like a princess. Ariel to be exact. Grayson didn't want to feel left out so he dressed up like a doctor. We did get a lot of giggles but why wouldn't you see a doctor at a Princess show?

Christmas School Performance - Afton

A couple of days later, I got my chance to perform on the stage. I really tried hard this time to sing all the words to all the songs. My mom especially loved my songs about Hanukkah. She kept making me sing them over and over again after we got home.

My favorite song was "holly jolly Christmas". Here is a video of me singing it. I am the third one from the left on the top row.

Christmas School Performance - Grayson

This was Grayson's first year at New Castle and his first Christmas performance. He loved being on the stage and singing lots of Christmas songs. He did a great job.

Mommy said for me to tell you that I kind of messed up the video because I wouldn't stop pulling on her arm the whole time, talking the whole time and walking in front of the camera. Sorry!

Family Pictures

While we were in Colorado, we tried to get our family pictures done. Even though there was snow on the ground, it was really hot outside and it made it really hard for us to get a good picture. We tried though. Mommy promised us we could get a treat if we were really good and patient and did what we were told. We got our treat.

Jump back to Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we all went to Colorado. I was so excited to go, I miss my family out there. Especially my cousins, London, Rheagan and Scarlett. All of Mommy's family was there except Aunt Eryn who had to stay in New York where she lives.

One night while we were there, we all went to go see the lights in down town Denver. It was really cool. I loved seeing the statues of Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus at the city and county building.

Mommy and Daddy also got to go see the Broncos play on Thanksgiving day. They said it was so much fun and the best part was that the Broncos won!

My first Ballet Recital

I had my first ballet recital last week. It was amazing! We performed in front of hundreds of people on a big stage. Our ballet was "Snow White" and my class was part of the Wedding at the end... the flower girls! I especially liked my costume because it was purple, my most favorite color ever. I also loved it because I love any excuse to put on make-up.

I thought I would be so nervous but I wasn't. I went right up there and did my very best and I wasn't even scared. I love to dance so much!

Grayson's Birthday was this week. He turned 4 on December 14th! Now that he is 4, there are many things he thinks he can do...

Make us laugh all the time

Make his bed

Clean his room

And much more!

We started the celebration with a party last Saturday. The theme was googley eyes. Yes, your heard me right.

The morning of Grayson's birthday looked like Christmas. So spoiled.

Mommy went with Gray to school that day too and got to play with all his friends.

Next was Mommy's Birthday. It was on November 5th and she probably wouldn't want me to tell you how old she turned. I will give you a hint though... it starts with a 3 and ends in a 1. Me, Grayson and Mommy went to California to celebrate. Mommy and me went to Disneyland on her actual birthday. Grayson was too scared to come with us. Typical.

We have had many birthdays in our family the past couple of months that have come and gone. Mine was first. I turned 5 on September 30th!

There are so many things I can do now that I am 5.

I can read about 10 books

I can cook chicken nuggets by myself

I write any word you tell me how to spell

I can dress myself and Grayson

I can shower myself

I can organize a day of events

I can put on a movie in the playroom

I love to follow directions and start art projects on my own

I can put on my own make-up just like Mommy

And much more...

To celebrate my birthday, I had a few friends over to watch the new Hannah Montana Movie and we had a Rock n Roll good time!

I got a lot of great things for my birthday including matching pj's for Sally and me, a desk and my very own I-pod (videos I made to come)!

Mommy also made me breakfast in bed. Big Pancakes, my favorite!

It was a school day on my birthday and Mommy went to school with me for the whole day. I told everybody that that was best part of the whole day!

And to end the day we went to dinner with Ellie and her mom. It was a great day!

a black widow spider in our house today! Mommy killed it and threw it out the window. We were so scared! After we inspected the whole house and sprayed our spider spray, we did some research. We read about the spider in Grayson's special spider book. I learned that black widows are all girls. But that made made me very curious. How do they have babies?

Me: "Mama, if black widows are all girls, who is their hun?"

Mom: "Black widows eat their husbands after they have their babies."

Well, that is pretty crazy.

It has been a very fun filled summer with oh so many activities and trips. I will fill you in on that later. First, I must tell you about my first day of school. Grayson and I are going to Newcastle pre-school this year. We go at the same time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. My mom might like it even more than we do, but that is hard to imagine. Gray and I are in different classes but we get to go in together and leave together. It is sooo cool.

Grayson's teacher's name is Miss Charlotte. He is very good at saying her name. Grayson said the best thing he did there was make a monster out of play-doh. I laughed when I heard that one. I asked him how he made it and he told me "magic". Very impressive. When Mommy asked him how his day went, he said "it was great!" with the biggest smile on his face. He was also very excited to tell us his friend, Ben was in his class. That made me happy because I was excited to tell everyone that Sydney was in my class, she is Ben's sister. We love hanging out with them.

My teacher's name is Miss Kathy. She is so nice and fun. I really like her. I loved at the beginning of class when we got to "introduce" each other. I met this "cute little, little boy" and he was my friend for the day. I can't remember his name though, I will try better next time. I love school and am so excited that we are back!

Easter

Yes, it's true Easter was a month ago but I had so much fun this year that I had to share it with you. For the first time, Mommy let us decorate and dye eggs. It was so much fun, I wish I could do it every day. I remind Mommy almost daily that I want to do it again. She just keeps telling me that we can only do it once a year though. Grayson and I drew special designs on the eggs with crayon and then we dipped them in the dye as many times as we wanted. I really love all the colors we came up with.

The day before Easter, we got to go to a really big Easter egg hunt at the city park. They had a big field covered in plastic eggs and when they blew the whistle, we ran to get them and loaded them in our baskets. Grayson didn't want any "girl colors" in his basket, so he kept throwing eggs out after Mommy put them in for him. He is so silly. Lots of the eggs had candy in them but a few had golden tickets in them. We got 3 golden tickets!!!! We were so lucky. We took our golden tickets up to a special table and they gave us huge baskets with big prizes in them. I still carry the big fluffy bunny I won everywhere with me.

On Easter Sunday, we dressed up in our very best. Mommy took our picture and then we learned about Jesus and the Resurrection at church. After church, we ran around the house hiding eggs for each other. I LOVE EASTER! I can't wait till the next one.

I am sure many of you are mad at me for leaving the picture of bloody Grayson up for so long. I laughed and laughed about it. But so much has happened since then. Lots of catch-up to do. I will start with one of my favorite things that happened in the past moths.

A month ago, we celebrated my Grandma Thelma's 80th birthday. It was so much fun. All my family from my daddy's side came to visit us and we had a big party in a hotel in Salt Lake City. We dressed up, took pictures, played with our cousins and even got to do a program.

I sure love my Grandma Thelma and my Grandpa Johnny. I wish we got to see them more. I love going to Canada to visit them.

A few weeks ago, without much warning, Mommy packed us in the car and drove us to Colorado for a much needed vacation. We were missing Nana, Bumpa, Nash and all the Blandfords. We had so much visiting them and all our dear friends we left behind in Colorado.

We saw the musical "Beauty and the Beast" and Nash's school.

I can't even tell you how much I love Valentines' Day. I had the best time picking out cards for my classmates and then signing them. I also made cards for Daddy and Paige. I loved getting out all the supplies with Mommy and making great works of art. She let me cut, punch and glue and everything.

Grayson loved making Valentines for his class too. He insisted on giving everyone squirt guns for their treat.

Mommy made us these t-shirts for the big day and for our class parties.

p.s. Mommy finally let me cut my hair. I love it, I can't stop staring at myself in the mirror.

The Visitors

Two weeks ago, we were so lucky to have visitors from Colorado! Nana, Bumpa and Nash came for a quick weekend trip. We read lots of books and ate lots of good food together.

We all took a trip to see the new Draper Temple which is just a quick walk from our house. Grandpa Glade and Grandma Coralie came down for the tour too.

Grayson's Show Week at The Little Gym

Today it was Grayson's turn at The Little Gym. He is in a class called "Terrific Tots" which is mostly pre-school with gymnastics too. We got to watch him show off his stuff and we learned that he is really good at following directions.

He got to make a grand entrance.

He sang some really good songs. (my mom said to apologize for the crazy camera work. i was sitting on her lap and wouldn't stop bumping her arm.)

I can't believe it has already been a week since Christmas day. And what a great week it has been. It all began Christmas eve with a visit from the Pajama Elves. We sat by the fire and listened to Daddy read "The night before Christmas". We could hardly wait for the next morning but we closed our eyes and fell asleep early (just how mom likes it).

We woke up to many wonderful gifts. Santa brought us just what we wanted. And all the presents under the tree were amazing. We are totally spoiled. I think we will have a new book to read everyday for two weeks.

On Christmas night, we were scheduled to fly to California. We almost thought we wouldn't make it. It had snowed at least a foot and our plane had to wait forever until it could get down the runway and take off. We made it eventually and boy were we glad. We enjoyed the warm sun, played with Grandma and Grandpa, played with our cousins and had non-stop fun. Grayson's favorite thing was making a bed with pillows from the couch on the floor. And he wasn't content until someone's legs were extended above him. He is a silly guy.

It was Grayson's birthday today. He turned 3! He is almost as tall as me. People ask Mommy if we are twins all the time. He is my best friend. We had the funnest pirate birthday party. We turned the family room and kitchen into a Pirate Cave and the Dining room into a Treasure room where we did all our treasure collecting. Grayson told Mommy it was the best party ever. He got some really great presents from his friends and family. We haven't been able to wipe the smile off his face all weekend. Happy Birthday Gray! We love you!!!!

A Very Happy Halloween!!

We had a great Halloween filled with pumpkin decorating, school and office parties and trick or treating of course. I was my favorite princess of the week, Jasmine. Grayson was a dragon and growled and breathed fire at everyone. It was so warm here, we trick or treated without even a jacket. Mommy was saying how she couldn't remember the last time it warm like this on Halloween. And wouldn't you know it, 15 minutes later it started raining the wind started blowing and it got pretty freezing after that. We totally scored on candy though. Grayson and I have been sneaking suckers and chocolate at every meal and pretty much everytime in between.

About 60 seconds after we got home from the halloween party at Daddy's office, this is where we found Grayson.

Snow! Snow! Everywhere. It snowed on Saturday and I told Mommy it was the best day ever. She doesn't like the snow though, so she didn't think it was so great. I even got to play a soccer game in the snow. It was hard to concentrate on the game when I was trying to catch all the snow on my tongue. Grayson had fun watching me too. And when the game was over, we went to Beans and Brews for hot chocolate.

Today I turned 4. It was my special day.

I woke up and opened so many amazing presents.

Then Mommy took me to Build-a-bear where I made an adorable pink bear with an ariel wig and outfit.

Then I went to lunch at Wendys (my favorite because I love the frosties). I played with some friends visiting from Colorado.

After that, I played with my presents and we were off to dinner at The Mayan restaurant. It was a really cool place with Cliff divers. I had such a great day and I will never forget it.

Dress-up Party

Yesterday was the funnest day. Mommy threw me a "dress-up" party in honor of my 4th birthday (which is actually on tuesday). I decided to dress up like Jasmine since that is my new Halloween costume. Grayson wore his Pirate costume. About 12 of my friends came and dressed up in their most beautiful costumes. We made paper dolls, played games, ate cake and opened presents. My friends gave me the greatest gifts. I have been playing with them non-stop.

I am officially a soccer player now!! My team is called the white spiders and we just finished our second week of play. Daddy is one of my coaches. I love putting on my uniform two days a week and I can put on my socks and shin guards all by myself. Mommy said that if I score a goal, she'll take me to the Disney Store and I can pick out a special prize. Wish me luck!

Big news at our house. Grayson got his big boy bed! He is so good at staying in it too. For the past 5 nights and naps, he has stayed put no matter how much I taunt him. When I got my first bed, Mommy said I was so crazy that she had to lock me in my room and "baby proof" the whole thing (I had a bad climbing habit). She said it was either that or tie me to the bed. I am glad I don't need my room locked anymore.

Grayson loves his bed so much, he can't wait to go to sleep. He calls it his "pirate boat bed".

Grayson and I just completed our first two weeks at school. It was has been so much fun. I get to go 3 days a week and Grayson goes 2 days. So everyday of the week, someone has school. Everyday, after we get in the car, we fight over who's turn it is to go. Mommy tells us this is pointless.

Today was so much fun. I got to go to my cousin, Alexa's house and then while we were there, we saw Mommy and Paige on TV. They were lucky enough to be asked by Shade Clothing to model the new fall line on "Good Things Utah". They did a good job. I wish I could see them everyday on there but Mommy told me that is not likely. Here is a peek at the show!

Mommy and Daddy took us the Gateway Mall and to our surprise, shopping is really fun there. We splashed away until the sun went down and we were so cold that our lips turned blue!

We spend at least one day a week our cool library. We love the kid section there. They have so many cool books and movies to check out. Really, we would spend every week there if we could.

My favorite time to go there is after dance class. We are so lucky to have so many fun things to do here.

We've been taking swim lessons since May and I have really improved. I can swim (dog paddle) all by myself! I love the water so much that I never want to get out. It makes Mommy really mad, especially when we need to get somewhere.

They are building a temple right next to our house. This week, we got to see them put the Angel Moroni on top. It was so cool to see how big he is and then watch the gigantic crane place him perfectly on top. We are so lucky.

We used to have really ugly dog cages in our side yard but Mommy and Daddy wanted to make a nice area for us to play. Daddy planted lots of nice trees and plants and Mommy painted a four square court and hopscotch for us. It is so much more fun now!

We have really fun next door neighbors. On this particular day, we decided to help them with a lemonade stand. So they dressed us up and let us help them make grape juice because they were all out of lemonade.

Daddy hung a hammock for us on the back porch by the hot tub. We have so much fun swinging on it with our friend, ellie.

On the 3rd of July, we headed up to Logan for fireworks in the stadium.

The show before the fireworks couldn't have been much more boring, Mommy is lucky we were so good and patient.

Our cousins, Alexa and Hailey were there too! We had so much fun dancing around the bleachers with them.

On the 4th of July, we had fun at Grandma Coralie and Grandpa Glade's house. We got ready for the big bbq and walked over for the hip-hooray (parade).

We caught a lot of candy and we even caught some water bottles. I sure love hip-hoorays (parades). And I love Grandma and Grandpa too!

We sure have had a lot of fun so far this summer and tomorrow we are off to California!!! We cant' wait to see Grandma Hollie and Grandpa Gordon!

While we were in Colorado, it was Rheagan's 5th Birthday. I can't believe she is 5 already. Seems like a really a long time until I will be that old. I have already been waiting almost a year until I'm 4. Rheagan had such a cool party. Theme was "High School Musical 2" so naturally it was pool/slip'n slide party. The most fun part was when we danced to music. Rheagan is such a good dancer.

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. Mommy has been to tired to help write about the stuff going on. So I will share some of the fun things that we have done in the past month.

On Memorial Day, we went to visit Mommy's Nana's grave. Mommy told us all about her and the special things they did together when she was alive. It has been a long time since Mommy has been able to come and put flowers there. She told us how much she misses her and it made really wish we could hang out with herl.

Grayson decided that not only does he declare himself "KING", he will parade around town dressed as a king. Thank goodness he is already out of this phase. Who knows though, he could pop back into it any moment. He is quite obsessive...

We visited Colorado and had a blast with our cousins, London, Rheagan and Scarlett.

Daddy had his birthday. He turned 31! He has a 3 just like me. We got him some great presents including a book on how to become a princess.

Well, we have been in Utah for just over a month now and are settling in. Just last week I asked my mom "when are we going home?" She just kind of laughed at me and explained that this is our new home and that we would never live in our other house again but we can always go back and visit. I think she expected me to cry or something but I just said "O.K.". I've been thinking about what my favorite things are about this place so far, since it looks like we will be here for a while.

This is the view from my bedroom window. It is majorly beatiful and I love it.

I love my playroom. We even have a little movie area that Grayson and I snuggle with our sleeping bags in. We have such a good time in there.

A great mail day!

Everyday we love to check our cute little mail box and today we had a few great surprises. First we received a package of new clothes from Grandma Hollie. Then we found a nice check from the government for Mommy and Daddy. Next there was a card from our Colorado Realtor with a nice gift card. But the best thing was a sweet package from our Colorado neighbors, the Hagers. It was so amazing. There was movie inside that Susan made for us. It was 2 years worth of movies and pictures of Grayson, Marin and me and put together nicely with the coolest music. We watched it twice. It was such a nice gift and a remembrance of what we left behind. Susan also wrote Mommy a letter. I am not sure what it said, but Mommy just cried. I tried to cry too to make her feel better. We miss Susan, John and Marin so much! Thank you!

Well, we have been in our new house for nearly 2 weeks now. Busy, Busy, Busy. It seems like every day we are either unpacking boxes, shopping for furniture or moving stuff around. I love my new room and I even have a little club house under the stairs.

We have tried to have some fun too. Our first weekend here we had lunch with Grandma Coralie and Grandpa Glade, rode ponies, played at a petting zoo and found a store that is named after me. Don't worry, we got pictures of all of it.

I also got to hang out with my cousin Alexa and her friend Zoe. It is so fun to have friends that are just my size. I sure do miss my friends from Colorado. Don't worry, Marin, we will be back to visit!

Daddy sent us these pictures from his phone this morning. He had a crazy night last night. He has been in Atlanta since Wednesday at a Dental Convention/Trade show. If you haven't seen it on the news yet, a tornado hit downtown Atlanta last night and Daddy was right in middle of all the devastation. Don't worry, he is O.K.. We are moving to this house April 9th! Mommy and Daddy scrambled to get our house ready to sell last week before they left for Salt Lake to find us a new home. Not even 24 hours later, an offer was made on our home in CO. And then a day after Mommy came back from Utah, we made an offer on a new house in Draper, UT. Our closing dates for both houses are on the 9th and Mommy says we will hop in the car and see our new home!! I can't wait. We're moving to Utah?!

So after a long wait for Daddy to find a new job, he finally found one. And it's in Utah. It all took us by surprise that we would be moving, especially to the Beehive state. Daddy starts his job March 10, so it seems like things are changing very fast. Mommy and Daddy are leaving for Salt Lake tomorrow morning to find us a new house. I keep asking Mama if there will be toys there and she assures me that there will be and they will look just like my own. I will greatly miss my cousins here and my Nana, Bumpa and Nash but Daddy tells me that there is another "cousin" waiting for me in Utah named Alexa.

Daddy's new job is with a company called Oratech and is based out of West Jordan so Mommy said that is around where our new home will be. It will be so fun to see what this place is like when we are not just visiting and Paigey is very nearby. I miss her so much. Look out Utah, here we come!

We got home from California on a Thursday and Mommy and I left for Arizona on Friday. We went to go visit Aunt Lori and Cousin Kennedi. What a fun girl's trip. We did a lot of shopping and eating. We ate Rosa's two times because Mommy can't get enough. We saw "Step-up 2" which was all about dancing. I really liked it and sang along to some of the songs while stuffing my face with yummy popcorn.

I loved playing with Kennedi. She is such a big girl and she let me play with all her old barbies. We also got to visit Aunt Sarah and my little cousin Hannah. She is so cute, just like a baby doll. Their house is so beautiful and filled with baby toys that I love.

Thanks to Aunt Lori for showing us a good time and letting us stay with her. I couldn't stop telling my mom that I wanted to "go back to Arizona" the whole ride home.

Adventures in Disneyland

We have had a very busy 2 weeks. First, my momma and I had that horrible flu that has been going around. We thought we were going to die and it made it almost impossible to get ready for our exciting trip to California. We were able to pull it together and left President's Day Weekend. We visited with my Grandma Hollie and Grandpa Gordon. I can't even tell you how much we love their house. They are so much fun to hang out with. We played and played, went to Disneyland, and then played some more.

Disneyland was sooooo much fun. Grayson and I earned the trip by getting enough stickers on our "Sleep Rules Chart". We tried our very hardest to follow every single rule and our reward was amazing. We saw Mickey Mouse (grayson's favorite), Minnie Mouse, Goofy (he went on a walk with us) and Ariel (my favorite). Seeing Ariel was definitely the highlight of the day. We rode so many rides but Grayson and I loved the Matterhorn ride the best. It was crazy and a little scary. When we got off, Grayson said "Fun Momma, let's do it again!" What a great day. I keep telling my mom that we need to go back. She just keeps telling me that we have a lot more sleeping to do until we get to do something like that again.

Sometimes, we need to let out a little extra energy at night at our house. Grayson and I like to do this by trying to pick each other up. I am often more successful at it than he is. In case you are wondering our weight difference is about 4 pounds so the odds are really in my favor anyhow. Mommy and Daddy just roll on the floor laughing every time we attempt a lift - which in turn gets us giggling pretty hard. Family fun at the Milne house!

Today it was Grayson's turn to show off his gymnastics skills. He can really put on quite a show. Mom had a hard time getting a good picture though, because he is constantly moving. I love that Grayson!

Well, today at gym, it was show week. We got to show our families all the skills we have been learning at gym. My mommy came and so did my daddy and Grayson and Nana. I was so glad my Nana came to watch me. I have really improved since I started going to this new gym. I got to wear my new leotard that I got for Christmas too. It is so pretty. Probably the coolest part is that I got a medal at the end. It is so neat!

Primary... Here I Come!!!

It was my first day of primary at church yesterday! I told my mommy "don't cry, just be happy". For some reason, this was a very hard step for her. She just keeps telling me to stop growing. I just want to keep growing though, so I can be big like Mommy.

An exciting activity during Christmas time is see the lights at the City and County Building in Downtown Denver. This was the first time Grayson and I got to see them up close. Our favorite part was seeing baby Jesus. We didn't want to leave him there but Mommy and Daddy assured us that he would be OK. I can't wait to see them next year!

The big show

My pre-school class put on a big show for Christmas time. I got to be an angel and sing lots of Christmas songs. I love being on stage. It was so much fun. I told mama that next year I think I will be Mary.

Princess, Princess, Princess

I think my mama might be a little sick of this word. I talk about the princesses alot. Mommy took me to see the Princesses on Ice and it very well could be the best night of my life. It has almost been a month since we saw them and I still can't go a day without talking about it. I keep asking her when we can see them again. She told me maybe we could visit them at their house in California sometime. That would be so cool!
I went to see the show with my friend and next door neighbor, Marin and her mommy, Susan. We just had the best time and I even got to dress up for the show!
